Welcome to another MWPmommyblogs website! My 4 1/2 year old son, Evan, has suffered from infant reflux, or more accurately GERD (Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease), since his birth.

I helped to create momswearingpuke.com because I share the same goal as the other moms there, to help others survive and to raise awareness about infant reflux and pediatric GERD.

While it is true that most babies with reflux outgrow their condition within the first year of life and that many do not require medical intervention for their reflux, there are some who are not so lucky and who are really bothered by their reflux. These are suffering from the more serious condition called Gastro-E(o)sophageal Reflux Disease (GERD). In Evan’s case, the complications include or have included, but are certainly not limited to, severe food and oral aversions, sensory integration dysfunction, constant weight loss, reactive airways disease, difficulty sleeping, erosion of dental enamel, and developmental and speech delays.

Although this blog was created for updates about Evan, it is also being used to talk about my family–my darling husband, Manfred, and our two darling boys, Brandon and Evan.
