I HATE (no…loathe!) reflux!!! :(

You have no clue (well, maybe some of you do  ;) ) how much I hate reflux and the sensory crap that comes along with it. Evan has been dealing with a flare up since last week (tied into spring pollens, which cause the post nasal drip, coughing, and silent refluxing), and as usual, it sets things off at both ends.  :(  Today, he choked on his pizza lunch at school (which caused him to throw up) and had to come home from school, poor kid. Good thing, I guess, b/c he needed to be rehydrated by then, but he's just fine and eating and drinking again, between the coughs and silent refluxes, that is. Why oh why can't he be one of the lucky ones and just be done with this friggin' crap.  Why couldn't he be lucky and outgrow this early and not have to deal with the other developmental crap.  Honestly…7 1/4 years and we're still dealing with this. It's just not fair that he still has to deal with this. I just want to go into a corner and cry.  :(

Oh, and on top of all that, my father-in-law's Alzheimers has made it impossible for him to drive safely any longer, so now I'll be the official chauffeur.  I don't mind helping out, but I'm already overwhelmed and exhausted.
